Technik Design offers a range of professional design and manufacturing services, based in Aberdeenshire only 15 minutes from Aberdeen City we are able to serve clients locally or anywhere in the UK.

Technik Design specialises in the design and manufacture of consumer products such as bespoke desks, tables, cabinets, home and office furniture – nearly everything that we produce is bespoke and these items are produced under the brand “Quality Wood Products” and “chair-x”.

Through recent significant investment in our workshop capability we offer CNC machining services using our state of the art AXYZ CNC router. This machine has a work area of 3.0 x 1.5 meters and has integral tool changer (ATC) and vacuum hold down bed. CNC machining can be performed accurate to 0.05mm. On this machine we are able to machine a range of materials such as hardwoods, plywood, mdf, acrylics, steel and aluminum.

All 3D design is performed using the latest Solidworks software, which we use to visualize designs for client presentation and then production drawings for manufacture. For our furniture products, digital data is then sent directly to the CNC machine for production.

Technik Design Limited has been a subscription licensed owner of Solidworks since 2005 performing multiple projects for different industry sectors. For peace of mind Technik Design is fully insured with professional indemnity insurance, public and product liability insurance.
